The ASO Conservatory of Music is a place where you can come to learn to play music as well as develop an appreciation for ALL musical styles. Students of all ages study at the ASO Conservatory! Our highly qualified teaching staff is capable of meeting the needs of beginners through advanced studies! We even offer music classes for toddlers! No matter what instrument your child is interested in, we provide lessons for them. Private lessons are available on ALL instruments. Our faculty will inspire your students with a love of music that will last a lifetime.

Historic downtown Lafayette, Louisiana transforms into an entertainment complex during Festival International de Louisiane April 23th through the 27th. The largest, FREE Francophone festival features six music stages, food courts, street performers, arts and crafts, live interviews with musicians, a craft biergarten, 5k run, and more. All programming for the festival is designed to celebrate cultural expression in a variety of forms and to encourage understanding and appreciation for different cultures. Festival International de Louisiane is a volunteer driven event with annual participation from approximately 2,000 volunteers. Through the arts presented and the joint efforts to produce it, the festival contributes to the spirit of community that is so unique to the Acadiana region.

The Lafayette Concert Band continues to make significant contributions to the cultural life of Lafayette and Acadiana by providing its members with opportunities for musical growth and its audiences living music in its richest tradition and proper concert atmosphere. The LCB presents formal performances of traditional and contemporary wind band literature as well as more informal "pops” and outdoor concerts throughout the season.
